Bentley Municipal Development Plan (MDP) Review 2016
Parkland Community Planning Services (PCPS) has been engaged to assist the Town of Bentley in the review and update of its Municipal Development Plan By-law and the Land Use By-law. Over the past few months, PCPS have been working with Town Council and Administration to revisit and renew the municipal development plan and sections of the current land use by-law.

The purpose of the Municipal Development Plan (MDP) is to provide a community vision, a framework of goals, objectives and policies to guide the future growth and development of land within the Town limits for a period of 10 – 15 years. The MDP is primarily a policy document, designed to assist decision-makers with ensuring that development takes place in an orderly and sustainable manner, balancing the environment, social, physical and economic needs of the community in hopes of enhancing the quality of life for the citizens and businesses of Bentley.
